19th century Samson of Paris porcelain trinket lidded box featuring a blue scallop background with hand painted bird decoration and ornate gilt painted detailing. Brass clover shaped clasp to the lid, opening to reveal a small amount of hand painted bugs and leaves decorated to the underside of the lid. Makers mark to the underside of the piece. Measuring approx. 11cm x 14cm x 10cm.
