Rev, large closed Lombardic E in centre of a floriated cross with lis terminals, lions and crowns in angles all within a tressure of eight arcs, fleurs in spandrels, legend reads + IhE o AVTEM o TRANCIENS o P o MEDIVM o ILLORVM o IBA, single annulet stops, 7.72gm (S. 1489/1490; N. 1173/1183; Schneider 37). Nearly Extremely Fine, full weight on a good round flan.
