32 1/2 inch, single edged blade. Etched floral panels, strung bugle with double scroll "South Middlesex" "Rifles", crowned VR cypher and owner's initials "CH" within a floral panel. Forte with maker "Firmin & Son 153 Strand & 13 Conduit St London". Steel, three bar guard. Steel, stepped pommel and backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.
