A 42cm diameter ornamental plate "Off Scarborough" No. 154 by Copeland circa 1880. A painted ceramic plate by Willian Yale of the Scarborough Pier Lighthouse in a storm. The lighthouse was built on Vincent's pier in 1806 and damaged by the German Navy in 1914 which meant it had to be dismantled and rebuilt.
