Napoleon III period, 1848 - 1870, hard paste porcelain gilded goblet, centrally enamelled to one side with oval cartouche medallion of self portrait study, Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino, high Renaissance painter, after Firence Gallerie, reserved on ornate scrolling foliate floral swag decoration, with blue Celeste lustre effects, inscribed on gilded border 'Raphael Sanzio'.
