Ɵ GEORGE IV.- [SAMS (WILLIAM)] PANORAMA OF THE CORONATION OF GEORGE IV 19th July 1821 Hand-held panorama reel of the coronation presented in one long pictorial strip, numbered sections, long pictorial strip, wound on a bobbin inside the casing, is drawn out through a slot; thus the procession passes before the viewer's eyes, in original boxwood drum case with printed decoration, some loss to first part with the King's Herb Woman at the head as well as other herb maidens, George IV appears at section 102, missing the printmakers signature at the end, etching and aquatint with hand-colouring on wove paper, approx. 80mmx8970mm.
