A FINE PERSIAN SILVER BOWL QAJAR PERIOD, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Of lobed circular form with flaring rim, the body elegantly divided into alternating panels decorated in relief with stylized flower baskets featuring intricate cross-hatched designs, interspersed with plain cartouches, each decorated panel bordered by finely chased rope-twist bands and lotus petal motifs at the base, the interior masterfully worked in high relief, showcasing a sunburst or rosette design emanating from a central medallion, the interior surface divided into radiating segments, each featuring raised, cushion-like lobes arranged in a concentric pattern.
