An East African Railways cabside numberplate, 2429, from a Uganda Railways metre gauge GD Class 4-8-0 built by Vulcan Foundry, Works No 3796, in 1925 which became Kenya Uganda Railways EB3 Class and later East African Railways Class 24 No 2429. The class was designed for branch line work and shunting and some survived almost to the end of EAR steam in 1980. Cast brass, 16½"x6½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: N/A)
