An Edwardian style diamond and untested sapphire cluster ring, the central oval cut untested sapphire within surround of ten round cut diamond, within white setting edge leading to plain polished yellow metal shank, stamped ‘18ct&plat’ ring size N ½, 5gms, total diamond weight estimated 1ct, total untested sapphire weight estimated 1.50ct
Diamonds all present, bright, lively and well matched in colour.
Diamonds are all clean to the naked eye, with minor inclusions seen to a few of the diamonds.
Five diamonds show varying degrees of fluorescence under UV light.
The untested sapphire with a light shining through it shows a light teal colour to the navy coloured stone.
Inclusions are present, seen with x10 loupe.
Mount shows tarnishing, general scuffs and scratches, commensurate with age and wear.
Minor thinning seen to the shank.
