George Gould, South Molton a longcase clock movement and dial having a thirty-hour bird-cage movement with turned brass pillars, anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell with an outside countwheel, the eleven-inch square brass dial having a raised chapter ring engraved with black Roman numerals and fleur-de-lys half-hour markings, the dial centre with engraved decoration and signed George Gould, South Molton, with a single blued-steel hand, with cast-brass c-scroll spandrels to the four corners.
