A late Victorian sampler with verse, animals and building within a meandering border, by Ruth Hill, October 20th 1838, 32 by 45cms, in a birds eye maple frame.
There are a few holes to the fabric in places, colours are reasonably strong, has browned overall, stitching good but has pulled just above the verse area, good overall condition.
