A 19th century Classical-style gilt frame over mantle mirror; the cornice with moulded leaves above a frieze decorated with a chariot, Roman-style soldiers and two cherubic figures heralding with trumpets above male lions which draw the chariot, further figures, central hand-bevelled over plate flanked by two slightly taller vertical rectangular hand-bevelled plates and further columns flanking (128cm wide x 82cm high)
