The villa was built by the industrialists and Alfred Krupp in Bredeney in 1870-1873 as his main home and the home of the Krupp family until after World War II. It is now used as an art gallery and concert venue and houses the historial archives of the Krupp family and one of the most important companies in Europe and the world.
