LARGE CHINESE PORCELAIN LIDDED JAR. Probably 19thc, with a white slip in low relief and painted with flowering trees and sprays of flowers and foliage, birds and insects, the white slip against a blue glaze. With a dome top lid with similar decoration, damages. 62cms high. *CR Lid, wear to the finial on the top, two large chips to the underside of the lid and firing crack.
Base, large cracks to both sides of the body running from the rim downwards across the body (visible on inside and outside), metal collar mounted to rim (and some small holes to the inside of the rim), some chips to the footrim.
