Mid 19th Century French Enamel Globe Clock by Antoine Redier, measuring approx 3 1/2 inches in diameter, The decorative enamel marked with country borders, capital cities etc, within twenty four time zones, mounted with steel Pointer, the Meridian with a brass band carrying 24 enamelled Arabic Numerals. The makers mark (in Shield shaped monogram form) lies off the coast of South America in the Pacific just below the equatorial gilt brass band.

No Stand or Winding Key, loss to a couple of the small circular central band Arabic numerals, the colourful enamel finish is in remarkable condition for age, the pointer has age related patina. This French Globe Clock would have originally sat on a turned brass gimble type stand resembling a terrestrial Globe.
