A 19th century Italian Grand Tour gilt gesso on wood ecclesiastic religious icon altarpiece. The icon depicting a later ink & pencil on paper depiction of the Madonna with Child with gilt halos. The portrait held within an altarpiece shaped frame with triangular head piece over serpentine columns to each side and Christian crosses decoration below. Labels to back reading ' Della Marra Luigi, Doratore & Verniciatore, Roma '. Measures approx. 51 x 27 x 5cm.
