A FIRST WORLD WAR RUSSIAN 1881 PATTERN CAVALRY TROOPER'S SWORD AND SCABBARD. With an unusually long 87 cm curved single edged blade with broad shallow fuller. Dated 1914 and with a good selection of Russian Ordnance issue marks. With wooden grip and brass guard also dated 1914. In brass mounted leather scabbard with single ring suspension. 105cm overall.
Rear quillon lacking, slight marking and wear to blade, cracks to wooden grip.Otherwise a nice examples.
