Avery, probably early 19th century, of typical form with 5/8" calibre 13cm barrels, inline triggers and safety catch, the stock with applied white metal ovals, the hatched grip with vacant white metal cartouche, the lock engraved 'JOS AVERY' with foliate motifs (at fault)

Extensive tarnishing to barrels and hammers, top of the left hand hammer broken and therefore unable to pull back hammer to test firing mechanism, general minor rubbing and marks to stock
