A Victorian satin birch desk, slightly oversailing top with inset tooled and gilt writing surface above an arrangement of drawers, plinth base, 76cm high, 127cm wide, 51.5cm deep, c.1870
The leather top of the desk has some wear, light scratches etc.
There does not appear to be any veneer missing, but there are a couple of small cracks, and the beading to one side has some sides of old woodworm, but no longer active, please see additional photos. Some small stains in places, but the overall aesthetic of the piece is good, and the desk is structurally in good order.
