A WWII Period German K98 pattern bayonet with etched blade 'Schlachtschiff Bismark', the straight single edge blade etched to one side as per title and 'Deutshe Kriegsmarine' to the other, the blade also stamped '3491' to ricasso, over hilt numbered '3647' two piece grip and etched pommel with swastika and foul anchor within a rectangular cartouche, together in a steel scabbard numbered '4352' , with black leather fog dated stamped '1942', blade length 25cm in an associated wooden box.
