A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 1913, from a 5ft 3ins gauge Great Northern Railway of Ireland Class T 4-4-2T passenger tank engine, BP Works No 5741, running number 189. In the 1920s it was rebuilt with saturated boiler and re-classified to T1. On the division of the GNR(I) in October 1958 it became part of the Ulster Transport Authority with an X suffix to the number. Withdrawn in 1960, it was subsequently scrapped. Cast brass, 10"x5¾", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
