A large clear glass documentary rummer, early 19th century, engraved to one side with "RICHARD GENT. BORN MAY 20TH 1801. TERRINGTON ST CLEMENTS / GOD SPEED THE PLOUGH" above a horse pulling a plough, and to the other with a harvest motif of crossed grain stalks, the domed foot with unpolished pontil, 23cm high (at fault)
The piece shows a 3.5cm long diagonal crack near the tip of the right hand grain stalk, a blowing bubble 3mm wide just below the rim, and fine surface wear throughout.
