A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 67673, DONCASTER WORKS, 1938, from a LNER V1 Class 2-6-2 No 478 built at Doncaster, Works No 1889, and allocated new to Stratford in November 1938, renumbered 7673 in 1946, becoming BR 67673. Its later sheds included Middlesbrough, Gateshead, Sunderland and Heaton from where it was withdrawn in October 1962 and cut up at Darlington Works. (Postage Band: B)
