An Irish cabside numberplate, 87, from a Northern Counties Committee 5ft 3ins gauge Class U2 4-4-0 QUEEN ALEXANDRA built at York Road Works in May 1936, a renewal of A Class compound No 63 built at Derby in 1905. It was taken into Ulster Transport Authority stock following its formation in 1948, still as No 87. Out of use by November 1956, it was scrapped in August 1957. Cast brass, 16½"x9½", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
