Two camphor wood chests or travelling trunks, late 19th c, with brass furniture, hinges and lock, the interior fitted with or formerly with a till, iron carrying handles, one with contemporary handwritten inventory label to the underside of the lid, 43cm h; 45 x 94cm and 41cm h; 45 x 97cm (2)
First chest - Old blackened scratches, mainly on lid, old colour and patina, unrestored
Second chest- Top with ink and other stains and scratches, also split near back edge, pleasing old colour and patina, unrestored
