AN EXCELLENT CASED INDIAN SILVER CONDIMENT SET, c.1890, to include four salts, four mustard pots and four peppers, along with four salt spoons and four mustard spoons, in fitted hardwood case with dovetail joints. The salts are each highly decorated with scrolling embossed designs to exterior, finials to cover, engraved handle, standing on three feet with detailing to knee. The peppers have matching designs with finials to top, scrolling floral embossed design to body standing on circular platform foot. The spoons feature figural designs to handles. 20 pieces total. Dimensions: case: 30.5cm x 25.5cm x 9.5cm; peppers: 7cm high; salts: 6cm high; mustard pots: 3cm high; spoons: 7cm high & 6.5cm high. Total weight: 19ozt approx. Please note: repair to one of the mustard pots. No visible makers marks.
