A fine Rockingham dessert dish with anthemion and gadroon moulding painted by John Creswell. With a wide border of gilt and green enamel arabesques framing a large still life composition in the Dutch style. Pattern 409, printed statant red griffin mark c.1826 , 25cm wide.
No chips, cracks or repair. Some wear to the gilt rim. Enameling in very good order.
