An early 18th century later carved oak brass dial longcase clock The dial signed Samuel Watson, London The hood with swan neck pediment and turned columns, the case, probably associated, with arched door above a panelled base box, all later carved with flowers and foliage, the 11in brass dial with silvered Roman chapter, subsidiary seconds below 12, engraved calendar aperture above 6, cherub and flower spandrels with further engraving between, the eight-day movement with four knopped pillars, striking on a bell. With pendulum and two weights. 52cm wide x 29cm deep x 226cm high
