Rare Mid 19th Century Naval Ships Large Musketoon Blunderbuss
25 1/2 inch, steel barrel with flared bell muzzle. The breech with two proof stamps. 1838 military pattern lock plate with maker "Barnett London". Heavy percussion hammer. Polished, full stock woodwork. The butt stamped "Barnett Gunmakers London". Brass butt plate, trigger guard and large ramrod pipe. Forend fitted with special pattern, steel U Shape bracket. Steel ramrod. Complete with cream painted, octagonal, wooden stand.
