A worksplate, ENGLISH ELECTRIC/VULCAN FOUNDRY 3043/D705, 1962, from a BR Class 37 D6751, renumbered 37 051 in February 1974 and named Merehead after the Foster Yeoman quarry from June 1996 until September 2002. Allocated new to Darnall in August 1962, withdrawn from Toton in March 2004 and cut up by Sims Metals at Beeston in January 2008. Chromed cast brass, 10¼"x4½", the front unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
