An Elliot mahogany cased mantle clock, retailed by Hamilton & Inches, Westminster and Whittington chimes, brass dial with cherub spandrels and a silvered chapter ring with roman numerals, presentation plaque on the base, 25 x 33cm
Comes with winder. Started ticking when wound, kept time for an observed period of half an hour. I could not get it to chime.
The case has some dents along the edge of the door, some still visible when the door is closed. There are some surface scratches, and scratches to the brass around the inside of the dial.
