A Chinese Kesi polychrome silk woven panel, Qing dynasty, first half 19th century, possibly the back of a robe, decorated with a roundel of flowers and butterflies above a border of lishui waves and auspicious good fortune symbols, the panel bordered with multi-coloured silk brocade, total measurement 47cm wide x 88cm high
There is some fading to the floral and butterfly decorated roundel and a vertical mark on the silk nearby, the silk lining is torn at the back
