AN AGATE CAMEO
possibly depicting Medea and the golden fleece, finely carved in orange, white and grey agate, dimensions of the cameo 3cm x 2.4cm, in a bright yellow metal pendant mount, length with bail 4.7cm. Weight 11.7gms
It is a natural flaw in the stone running from the bottom to about mid way, it breaks the surface (barely) on the back but not on the front, otherwise light general wear to the agate and the gold mount
