A French Edwardian Art Nouveau carriage alarm clock the eight-day duration timepiece movement having a replaced platform lever escapement with the backplate stamped with the hand-setting arrow design for Couaillet Freres of Saint-Nicolas-d'Aliermont and Paris, with the alarm bell set within the base, the cream ivorine dial having stylised black Arabic numerals, alarm setting dial, blued steel spade hands and Art Nouveau style gilt-brass fretwork mask, the Serpentine shaped brass case with matching handle, height 15cm/13cm handle up/down.
