A Queen Anne silver mug, of tapered cylindrical form on raised circular foot with simple loop handle, banded decoration and engraved cartouche, with Britannia standard mark, London 1709, 7cm high, weight 2.35ozt (at fault)
Condition Poor. Splitting, piercing and solder repair where the handle meets the cup. There is a further split to the rim of the cup. The cup and handle heavily dented and scratched. Hallmarks are heavily worn, but city mark and date letter is legible. Engraved decoration is quite worn.
