A Third Reich era German flag, the black swastika within a white roundel, upon a red rectangle, deep white border. Provenance: Liberated by F. Budgen R.N. in Hamburg in 1945. He was with combined operations with a VHF unit landing at Aramonche following the 1st Army through Europe
