A scratch built wooden model of the Wilson Shipping Line SS Austria, with rigging and spars, 81cm.
The Austria, 2221 tonnes, was built for Bailey & Leatham of Hull in 1890, so called Tombstone Line for the rounded top white vertical panels on a black funnel, who were bought by the Wilson Line in 1903, sold to Belgium in 1912 and sunk by a mine in 1916.
