A smokebox numberplate, 68035, from a War Department Austerity 0-6-0ST built by Vulcan Foundry, Works No 5310, in July 1945, WD No 75320, and placed in store at the Longmoor Military Railway. Acquired by the LNER in June 1946, their number 8035, it became BR 68035. Its only sheds were Blaydon and Darlington from where it was withdrawn in October 1963 and cut up at Darlington Works. The front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
