French Chassepot Bayonet
22 1/2 inch, single edged, yataghan blade with large fuller. Rear edge with faint maker's details. Steel hook quillon crossguard and muzzle ring. Brass ribbed grip. Contained in its steel scabbard. This heavily pitted with some damage.
