1937-52 collection of coil stamps on leaves. A very interesting lot with seven leaders and two ‘ends’, coil joins including 3d deep violet (2 horizontal) and 6d; offsets; plate flaws; two strips of 1½d pale green apparently from a coil with a faulty section which was cut out and replaced, rejoined by the printer but each in tête-bêche format (with a letter of guarantee from the dealer A.L. Bert); double perfs. official repair and much else, essential viewing for dealer or collector
