£50 - £80
Bass & Co 'Prince's Ale' 1929 - pint bottle size (10"), level to top shoulder and red wax capsule still mostly intact. Signs of weeping. Paper label overall in good condition, three small losses and some staining. Called 'Prince's Ale' because the mash was started by the then Prince of Wales who was later to become Edward VIII - who abdicated prior to his Coronation. These bottles were originally offered for sale in 1930 at the princely sum of £5.
