A worksplate, SHARP STEWART & Co, 3466, 1889, from a Barry Railway Class B 0-6-2T No 18 built in May 1889. When the Railway with its locomotives was absorbed by the GWR in 1922 it became GWR 212 and was rebuilt with a GW Standard No 9 boiler in 1924. It was withdrawn from Cardiff East Dock on 10 July 1948 and cut up at Swindon Works. The large style plate, cast brass, 15¾"x8", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
