WW1 Medal trio with added and tragic interest. Medal Trio awarded to 22468 George Bysouth. 1914-15 star inscribed Bombadier RFA, War and Victory medals inscribed Serjeant RA. Real photo postcard of George Bysouth is included. Also included in the lot is a letter for George from his brother Henry, a gunner aboard HMS Queen Mary, which was written whilst serving on board. The letter is not dated but Henry is listed as having been lost when HMS Queen Mary was sunk at The Battle of Jutland. Included with the letter is a 1914 Princess Mary Christmas tin with inscription, a sailors Tally for HMS Hogue (sunk by a U-Boat in 1914) and Gunner Henry Bysouth's dog tag.
