CONDITION: Oil on original canvas with two puncture holes showing in the sky to the right canvas a little saggy with stretcher marks showing, various scattered dirt marks throughout, one 1 inch scratch in the sky above the sea which has been crudely patched but not properly retouched, a number of other small patches scattered throughout with retouching to varying levels of success, see our additional photographs, paint slightly drying out in the blue and starting to flake around the centre of the picture as well as towards the top left and bottom right corner, signed lower left, housed in what looks to be the original gilt frame which is now rather dirty and tatty, no labels verso.
