£300
A VICTORIAN SILVER NOVELTY INKWELL
by James Charles Edington, London 1868, modelled as an Aladdin's lamp, with partially engraved decoration and terminating in an eagle head flying scroll handle. 13cm long, 4.4 troy ounces (excl. glass)
The marks are clear on the base and the cover, which fits well. There is a tiny nick on the edge of the glass inkholder, but there is no personalised engraving. Overall, it is in generally good condition.
