A GEORGE V 1897 PATTERN SERGEANTS SWORD AND SCABBARD. With an 82 cm tapering, pointed blade with etched decoration including George V monogram. With broad guard with GRI for Indian service, with pierced scrolling decoration and turned down inner lip. With shagreen grip and domed pommel. With service scabbard. 102 cm overall.
Blade in good condition, guard with surface rust and wear to grip, scuffing to scabbard.
