A MUSEUM QUALITY IGUANODON SACRUM, 125-130 MILLION YEARS, BRIGHSTONE BAY, ISLE OF WIGHT (WESSEX FORMATION)
An exceptionally well preserved Iguanodon sacrum from Brighstone Beach on the Isle of Wight. The sacrum was found in one piece, needing no repairs, and features neural arches and processes. There is no restoration to this piece, it's all original, and weighs in at just over 3kg.The last image is a 1849 engraving of an Iguanodon sacrum by Gideon Mantell, for comparison. This specimen comes with a high quality display stand, custom made by a blacksmith. The ID label is loose for the buyer to attach to their preferred side of the display stand.
