More Information

The paint surface shows craquelure throughout, but no obvious damage. Examination under UV shows evidence of re-touching to the lower left corner and upper right canvas edge. The canvas moves slightly in the frame, resulting in some wear to the edges. The frame appears to be structurally sound, but shows cracking and the odd small loss to the moulded details throughout, particularly on the corners. The gilt finish shows age related wear.

External frame dimensions: 58cm x 70cm
