Henry Ogden, Manchester (fl.1862-1882); An Aesthetic Movement American walnut chiffonier probably to a design by H.W. Batley with carved mirror back and turned spindle columns above a central glazed panel door painted with flowers, flanked by open shelves, upon turned supports. Stamped "H. Hogden 8210, Manchester" to the top of the door. 112 cm wide x 35.5 cm deep x 150 cm overall height. A private estate a shirt length of moulding missing from the mirror back on the left-hand side as it joins the op and a short return of moulding on the right-hand side is missing.
