Henry VI silver Groat, annulet issue (1422-1427), Calais, (S 1836, North 1427). Obverse: crowned facing bust with annulets by the neck, within a tressure of arcs, pierced cross mintmark preceding 'HENRIC x DI x GRA x REX x ANGL xZx FRANC' around. Reverse: long cross pattée with three pellets in each angle, extra annulet in two, 'VILLA xx CALISIE xx' in the middle ring and pierced cross mintmark before 'POSVI ○ DEVM xx ADIVTORE x MEVM' in the outer legend. Weight: 3.38g. Diameter: 26mm. Grade: aF - good flan with a few minor scuffs and scraps, indicative of being in the ground, otherwise about Fine.
